Dear Friends and Colleagues,
With more than 50 participants from all over the world, including leading researcher from academia and industry, the annual meeting in Athens was a great success.
One of the major topics was the use of the immune system in treating bladder cancer and novel treatment concepts such as viral therapy or novel molecules to directly target cancer cells. But also advances in biomarker reasearch and the understanding of molecular events that might turn out to the development of the next generation of target therapies were presented and discussed. Thus the meeting provided once more an excellent occasion to meet each other and to exchange novel insights in ongoing trials and projects.
Excellent presentations, inspiring scientific discussions, a perfect location and the great organisation was again a mix that provided the chance of getting new ideas, starting novel collaborations and gettting integrated in the community of people that are interested in understanding and fighting bladder cancer.
